MPX-70 & MPX-80 Replacement Engraving Head

The engraving head for the Metaza™ MPX-70/80 contains nine carbon styli that strike the metal surface to create the engraved impression.

Once you have purchased the MPX-70/80, the main outgoing cost should only be the 'cost of goods' that you are selling.
The only ongoing maintenance cost you will encounter will be the cost of replacement heads. The more each stylus strikes a surface the quicker it will need replacing.
A replacement head costs £299 and can last (depending on frequency of use) anything from a few months of non-stop constant use to several years of occasional use.
It should calculate to each engraving averaging a cost of between apx. 2p-10p each - which is cheaper than the cost of replacement ink-jet cartridges.
